Tonewood doesn’t matter. At all.

You seriously can’t hear the difference between mahogany and alder? You might need to check your ears, dude. Maybe too much playing with fullstacks with no protection...

It makes way more difference in the room than it does in a mix.

I used to believe this until I built a partscaster, same pickups, completely different feel and tone.

If tonewood didn’t matter, no one would pay extra for swamp ash. But here we are.

Well yeah i feel like paint affects way more
