Written by Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, Alex Katunich, Chris Kilmore and José Pasillas, the song pairs shimmering clean guitar lines and dynamic shifts with lyrics about being fully present in a perfect moment while longing to share it with someone. Co-produced with Scott Litt, it reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks and No. 4 on Mainstream Rock. A replacement video using band footage aired after 9/11, and the song became a live staple featured on The Morning View Sessions and Alive at Red Rocks.
